Punk Rock Factory have given us one of the most unique and fun renditions of "Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked. Based in the Uk, and currently moving through a sold out 7 stop tour, with bigger plans for the fall, this band is coming into 2023 with a force.
It is rock and punk and so much fun to listen to. This is definitely a track to put on and dance like no one is watching. Their name gives some clues as to what kind of sound you'll hear, but man were we blown away. To take a slow and powerful song like this and give it a whole new vibe and life in the best way.
The video is so interesting to watch visually. Nothing like an upside down house to defy gravity. It's such a simple concept, but so artfully done it really feels like you've entered a world without gravity.

"Defying Gravity is a song our fans have been begging us to reimagine for a long time. After we did a short clip of it on TikTok and the fans went crazy it was clear to us that we had to add it to the album. We had great fun breaking the song down and adding our PRF spin to it, and are super happy with how it came out in the end.
This track comes after 2 previously released covers, Rewrite The Stars (The Greatest Showman) and You'll Be Back (Hamilton), of the upcoming album It's Just A Stage We're Going Through. This album features 11 covers of Broadway musical numbers from a variety of different shows.
