Brunch. The song is the perfect blend of neo-soul and pop, with the musicality to bring back the nostalgia of a Y2K summer day. The song has a great energy radiating to it and is sure to get stuck in your head. It’s a song that immediately catches your attention and can become a crowd favorite. It is the anthem for the summer in my opinion. An easy listen, Brenzy’s vocals mesh well with the music. The chill usage of harmonies gives the song an extra razzle-dazzle.
The song is definitely a pick-me-up, the perfect explanation of sunday brunch vibes. The
lyrics give a clear description of the vibes expected. Brunch with your friends, having a great time just to go back home and be up under your partner. A vibe many are probably anticipating for the summer. Enjoying bottomless mimosas and having the utmost fun with no cares in the world. It makes you want to dance around and just live life.
A call to action if you will, as Brenzy put it, “tap into my feminine side”. Step out of your comfort zone and go have fun!
