Grace Morrison has released a song with purpose. “Sober” is for anyone fighting an addiction. She wrote this specifically with eating disorders in mind, yet it will touch anyone affected by addiction. Her intention is to bring awareness to the issue and give people something that might bring them some comfort.
Starting out with soft and soothing violin that is then partnered with other instruments, but remains one of the more prominent sounds. Grace’s vocals are something out of an ethereal realm.
Singing about people fading away and reminding them that they can get “Sober” and turn around. For someone who is struggling with addiction of something, it is a daily battle. “One small slip and it’s all over. I hope you know that you can get sober”.
This song can bring you to tears or lift you up. Whatever your situation, it is sure to bring about emotions.
